Hostess with the Mostess Launch Party at San Diego's Hotel Solamar

Photo Source
Let me start off by saying how honored and excited we were to be a part of something so huge. Jenn over at Hostess with the Mostess is one of mine and Adrienne's idols. She's famous to us. A super star. So when we found out that we'd be designing stationery for her new website's launch party in San Diego we started jumping up and down with excitement. Then we found out we would get to work with Carolyn Chen of The Special Day and were even more excited.
And we not only were able to create the stationery for one of the tables featured at the launch party but we were invited to the party as well. As guests we got to sit back and take in the amazing details around us. Jenn and her team really did think of everything. From the beautiful women adorned with gorgeous face paint who greeted us at the top of the elevator on the rooftop of Hotel Solamar. We enjoyed themed beverages, including a White Rabbit, and were excited to find that there would be a candy bar as well featuring The Marshmallow Studio's hatter themed marshmallow designs (I'll be ordering these for my daughter's first birthday for sure!).

After enjoying the wonderful party and chatting with some amazing guests it was time to head out. We were greeted once again by the lovely ladies at the door and were each given a beautiful bag filled with amazing goodies. We didn't find out until after we were home exactly how amazing this goody bag was. The contents in a fashionable KOKO insulated lunch bag  included OPI nail polish, KOKO soft spout water bottle, KOKO Eatools, Evite tumbler, Mabel’s Labels samples, Z Gallery and Shutterfly gift cards, Mighty Leaf tea, Pom juice, Columbia Crest wine bottle opener, Sweet Baking Supply cupcake liners, Wonka chocolate, Tiny Prints stationary pack, Glue Dots and more.

We were truly blown away by the whole experience. What a wonderful way to launch HWTM's new site. We love what you've done, Jenn, and cannot wait to see what you'll do next! To check out more pictures of this event head on over to our Facebook page! And if you haven't already liked us please feel free to do so to get updates on the latest in Cherish Paperie news.

A Seussical Celebration - Dr Seuss Themed Baby Shower {Events and Locations}

A few weeks ago I hosted a baby shower for one of my good friends. Once she found out she was having a boy and shared the news I started thinking themes and Dr. Seuss stood out as an awesome way to celebrate baby #2. Reds, blues and yellows were the perfect boy colors to start with and once I had my theme and colors I started looking for decoration inspiration.

Tessa of Grin & Share It Photography was kind enough to provide the photos in this post. She captured the event perfectly!

Cherish Paperie provided all of the paper goods for the shower decorations. We printed out and framed the menu, which included green egg salad & ham sliders, poodle noodle pasta salad and Cat in the Hat parfaits, as well as the adorable invitation (I will have to find a picture of this and post it!).

We also used various sizes and colors of circle cut outs and placed them around the dessert/beverage table and the food table. We also printed out quote cards where I wrote in various quotes by Dr. Seuss and quotes from his books. They were perfect with the circles to create a uniform yet simple design.

We also printed up a banner sign that I strung up with ribbon to hang over the dessert/beverage table to congratulate the mama-to-be. It drew all of the theme elements together into one cohesive look. Everything turned out so wonderfully. I really enjoyed coming up with the different elements to the party.

Royal Wedding Predictions {Events & Locations}

Source
With royal wedding week in full swing there are many who are making predictions about the big day and the details that will be included. We've had the pleasure of working with Christina of Dolce Designs Studio in creating reception stationery for her mock up recreation of her predictions. She will be interviewed by CNN today at her studio in West Hollywood. We cannot wait to see how everything turns out! So stay tuned and keep an ear and eye out for Christina!

And if you are craving more Royal Wedding predictions check out My Fair Wedding's David Tutera on a segment from the Rachel Ray show here or Brian Worley, wedding planner, for Shedding the Wedding on the CW on KTLA here.

If you're planning on tuning in to watch the royal event make sure to set your alarm clocks! With the time difference we will be having to wake up mighty early to view the nuptials and ceremony live. That's why I love YouTube and DVR. Stay tuned for pictures of Christina's predictions!

Unveiled LA Take Two {Events and Locations}

We had the pleasure of doing the reception stationery for Dolce Design Studios at the Unveiled LA event this past Monday. Below are a few pictures of the tablescape created and the menus and food cards we created.

Thinking of having a sweets table at your next event? Why not let your guests know what your serving with style? These cute food cards not only label what the dish or item is, they also bring a bit of brightness and color to a dessert table.

Planning a sit down dinner or luncheon? Why not let the guests know what they're being served with a cute menu. Either place at each table setting or have it set up in the middle of the table. These will only enhance the total look and feel for your event.

 The completed tablescape. Isn't it beautiful?

Interested in custom reception stationery? Contact us and we'll design something spectacular. We can also match your reception stationery to your save the dates, invitations, programs and much more! Thanks again to Dolce Design Studios for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful event.

Unveiled LA... Take One {Events and Locations}

Sadly the Unveiled event we were so excited to see was rained out on Sunday (see pictures above) so Adrienne made use of her afternoon out and headed over to the sTORIbook weddings premiere launch at invenTORI; cupcakes, champagne and she got to meet Tori & Dean…so totally worth it!

Don't worry, the Unveiled event was just postponed until tomorrow. Pictures of the reception stationery we created for Dolce Design Studios and the Unveiled event to come on Tuesday!
